Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch.

Maybelline Baby Lips - Pink Punch
£2.99 Superdrug
I didn't want to give into the hype of these lip balms but to be honest, I couldn't resist. As much as I have many a lip balm or balm stains, none compare to these. There are mixed reviews about this line and well, I'm on the yes side of the scale. Blogger and Youtubers alike have talked about these I know, but I'm going to talk about them anyway.

This is the first Baby Lips I have brought and I think I'm going to get the red tinted one, not sure on the name, but I think that one will look a treat near Christmas time, when you don't want a harsh red lip and you want subtle, juicy, red lips. I really like the formulas of these products too, they are so buttery and just glide on. I love the pigmentation and the look that it gives, a milky pink lip (see below). One thing I would say is that they aren't super long lasting, but they do make you lips feel lovely and smooth, something which you definitely want in a lip balm.
How it looks on the lips.
Let me know what you think of these if you have tried them and please recommend ones I should get next.
Hope you enjoyed...

Maybelline Colour Show Nail Polish in 149 Power Red.

Maybelline Colour Show - Power Red (149)
£1.99 Fragrance Direct http://www.fragrancedirect.co.uk/
As soon as I saw this on Fragrance Direct, I fell in love with the colour. I'd been looking for a true, sixties sort of red for ages and I had the Sinful Colors one in Ruby (reviewed here), but it wasn't the right shade really and now my Mum has stolen that one, so I got this one. For £1.99 it's a bargain as in Superdrug they are originally £3.99, but they are on an offer for £2.99 at the moment so that's good too. I applied two coats of this and I was ready to go; it dries so fast and is so opaque and it didn't chip straight away either, that's a good nail polish in my opinion. I may pick some more up, maybe get some more autumn/winter shades, why not?
Here's what it looks like on the nail. Sorry no thumb.
I hope you enjoyed this, I really do recommend this nail polish, it's a true and classic red, so elegant and is very classy looking.

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick in 01

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick in 01.
Now I've heard so many people rave about this lipstick shade and quite frankly I don't have a perfect red shade of lipstick, they are all darker reds or berry colours, so I thought it being Christmas soon I'd buy it. I believe it was £5.49 and whilst that was a little more than what I'm use to spending on lipsticks, I did really want it for a long time, so it's justifiable (he he). I love the way this looks, it's that true crimson, red shade that I have been searching for and it does really last on lips too, bonus! This is now my favourite lipstick, matched with my pale skin, It looks so timeless, just the look I like to go for on a night out or on an occasion, definitely going to be sporting this this Christmas. If you are looking for this lipstick and don't want to pay the price, try Fragrance Direct because they do it for around £1.99, just see if they have the right shade in stock and it's yours for a fraction of the price. Here's what it looks like on (below), without lip liner, with lip liner it would look more put together and crisp and would last even longer, but I need to invest in a red lip liner, any recommendation? Please leave it below.

This is what it looks like without lip liner.

L'oréal Paris Perfect Clean Foaming Gel Wash

L'oréal Perfect Clean Foaming Gel Wash (With Salicylic Acid)
£2.99 Fragrance Direct: http://www.fragrancedirect.co.uk/
Hey Folks! Long time, no blogging, right? Sorry for my absence, it's all been a bit hectic, I think you can all relate at some time or another. But here's a blog post for you, I have few more post coming in bulk too, to make up for my month absence. Anyway with that said, let's get started shall we.

Well... let me first say that I absolutely love this product. I mean it just makes your face feel amazing and fresh and with it being slightly cheaper because it is off Fragrance Direct, you can't complain either. I like to use this on a morning and in the bath, if I have a relaxing morning soak. I really like the idea of the brush that comes with it, it help the product buff into the skin with its soft plastic bristles (and they are soft not harsh in the slightest), to get that deep clean. All you do is wet you face, then add a little product to the brush and then in circular motion go all around the face. This will literally rub off any left over make up that a wipe doesn't get and leaves your pores on your face looking smaller and your face shinning with cleanliness.

I would definitely recommend this product, it lasts quite a while and is considerably cheap, if you go on Fragrance Direct like I did. Not only that I think the idea of the brush and going in circular motions is a lot more fun than a harsh scrub, however, scrubs are good too, but sometimes your skin wants a break from all the harsh scrubbing.

Hope you like this post, I have a few more coming your way and I will be a little more on the ball with blogging now that the hectic stuff is a over a little.
